Raya University Signed MoU with International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Ethiopia to work in collaboration on Mindset Education on June 13, 2025 at Mekelle University, Mekelle. The MoU was signed by Professor Tadesse Dejenie, Raya University’s President and Dr. Lee Guang Bo, General Director of International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Asia.
The aim of the MoU is to foster their collaboration in education, youth empowerment and innovative for sustainable development and nurturing the potential of young people through strategic partnerships and innovative program.
Professor Tadsese, RU’s President, in his speech expressed the commitment and willingness of the university to work collaboratively with IYF on education, research, community services, experience sharing that address youth-related issues, demand-driven education or community development.
The 8th anniversary IYF Tigray event was manifested by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between IYF Ethiopia and four protuberant public universities in Tigray; Raya University, Mekelle University, Axum University, and Adigrat University.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Lee Guang Bo, General Director of IYF Asia, and Dr. Shi Yong Shen, General Director of IYF Ethiopia and Director of IMSE at Mekelle University and presidents of the sister universities.
The agreement will pave the way to advance cooperation and exchange experience to maximize the impact of their joint efforts in education, research projects and youth empowerment.
