‎የራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሕግ ትምህርት ቤት በኑረምበርግ (ጀርመን) በሚካሄደዉ የ”ኑረምበርግ ዓለም አቀፍ የምስለ ችሎት 2025 ውድድር” #Nuremberg_Moot_Court_2025 ከኢትዮጵያ ብቸኛ ተወካይ፣ ከአፍሪካ ካለፉት 7 ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች አንዱ በመሆን ከአለም ደግሞ 16ኛን ደረጃ በመያዝ ወደ ቃል ክርክር በማለፉ ይፋዊ የውድድር ግብዣ ስለቀረበለት መላው የዩኒቨርሲቲውን ማህበረሰብ አስደስቷል።

‎የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕረዚደንት ፕሮፌሰር ታደሰ ደጀኔ ለተወዳዳሪ ተማሪዎቹ የእንኳን ደስ አላችሁ መልእክት ባስተላለፉበት ወቅት ተማሪዎቻችን የኛ ኩራቶች በመሆናችሁ በጀርመን ሀገር በሚደረገው ውድድርም ብቃታችሁ በማሳየት የራሳችሁ፣ ማህበረሰባችሁ እና ሀገራችሁ ማስጠራት ይጠበቅባችኃል ብለዋል፡፡

‎የዩኒቨርሲቲው የአካዳሚክ ምርምር፣ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ኢንደስትሪ ትስስር፣ ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር እና ማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ምክትል ፕረዚደንት ዶ/ር ነጋ ዓፈራ እና የአስተዳደር እና ልማት ምክትል ፕረዚደንት ዶ/ር ክብሮም ካሕሱ በበኩላቸው ለተወዳደሪ ተማሪዎችን እንኳን ደስ አለችሁ በማለት ዩኒቨርሲቲው ከሀገር አቀፍ ዕውቅና አልፎ በዓለም ፊት ከፍ ብሎ እንዲታወቅ ለተደረገው ዘርፈ ብዙ አካዳሚያዊ ልፋት አድንቀው በውጤቱ እጅግ መደሰታቸውን ገልፀዋል።

‎ራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በዩኒቨርሲቲው የሕግ ትምህርት ክፍል መምህር ሸዊት ሓድጉ የቡድኑ አሰልጣኝ፣ በመምህር መሓመድ ባዩ የትምህርት ቤቱ ዲን እና የበድኑ አስተባባሪነት እየተመራ የ5ኛ ዓመት የሕግ ተማሪዎች ተማሪ ዘመን አምሃ፣ ሕሉፍ ኻልኣዩ እና ገብረ መስፍን ተወክሎ ወደ ጀርመን ሀገር በማቅናት በኑረምበርግ ከተማ በሚካሄደው “ዓለም አቀፉ የምስለ ችሎት 2025 ውድድር” የሚሳተፍ ይሆናል።

‎ይህ ውድድር በየአመቱ የሚካሄድ ሲሆን ራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በዘንድሮው ውድድር ከ1000 በላይ የዓለም ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ከተመዘገቡበት የፅሁፍ ውድድር ካለፉት 138 ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች አንዱ በመሆን፣ በታላቅ ትጋትና ተነሳሽት ከ138 ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በተደረገው የክስና መልስ ፅሑፍ ማጣሪያ ውድድር በማለፍ ፊት ለፊት ለሚደረገው የቃል ክርክር ካለፉት 40 የዓለም ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ከኢትዮጵያ ብቸኛ ተወካይ ከአፍሪካ ከተወከሉ 7 ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ደግሞ አንዱ በመሆንና ከዓለም 16ኛን ደረጃ በመያዝ አስደናቂ ውጤት በማስመዝገብ ከሀምሌ 16 እስከ 19/ 2017 ዓ.ም በጀርመን ሀገር በታሪካዊ የናዚ የጦር ወንጀለኞች ጉዳይ በተዳኘበት ችሎት በኑረምበርግ ከተማ በአካል ይካሄዳል፡፡

‎Raya University School of Law Shines on Global Stage: Earning a Spot in Nuremberg Moot Court Competition 2025

‎Raya University School of Law has achieved a remarkable milestone by qualifying for the oral rounds of the Nuremberg Moot Court Competition 2025, making it the only university from Ethiopia to do so. This momentous achievement places the university among only seven Universities from Africa and ranks them 16th globally, reflecting the exceptional caliber of their legal education program.

‎After a rigorous selection process that began with over 1,000 universities worldwide, Raya’s team, comprised of fifth-year law students Zemen Amaha, Hiluf Kalayu, and Gebre Mesfin, has successfully navigated through demanding phases, including written submissions. Under the guidance of their coach, Mr. Shewit Hadgu, and team coordinator Mr. Mohammed Bayu, who is also the Dean of the School of Law, the students are set to demonstrate their legal expertise and commitment on an international platform.

‎Raya University’s management expressed immense pride in this historic achievement. President Professor Tadesse Dejenie, alongside Vice President for Academic, Research, University-Industry Linkage, Technology Transfer and Community Engagement Dr. Nega Afera and Vice President for Administration and Development Dr. Kibrom Kahsu, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the team, acknowledging the hard work and dedication shown by both students and faculty.
