በራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ መምህራን የበለጸጉ ሁለት የፈጠራና የምርምር ዲጂታላይዜሽን ስራዎች ተመረቁ!

በራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የእንዱስትሪ ትስስርና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ዳይሬክቶሬት ፅ/ቤት በ2017 የበጀት ዓመት ከተሰሩ የቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ስራዎች ውስጥ በራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ መምህራን እና ተመራማሪዎች የተሰሩ ሁለት የፈጠራና የምርምር ድጅታላይዘሽን ስራዎች ውጤታማነታቸው ተረጋግጦ ዳይሬክቶሬት ፅ/ቤቱ ባዘጋጀው መድረክ በይፋ ተመርቀዋል። የፈጠራና የምርምር ድጅታላይዜሽን ስራዎቹ የራያ ዩኒቨሲቲ የምርምር ውጤቶች ድጅታል ቋት፣ የምርምር መረጃዎች አስተዳደር ስርዓት፣ እንዲሁም Raya Journal of Science and Development (RJSD) አንድ ላይ የሚያጠቃልል የምርምር ፖርታል እና ግእዝን በሞባይል መማር የሚያስችል ፍኖተ-ግእዝ የተሰኘ የሞባይል አፕልኬሽን ሲሆኑ፤ የትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የምርምርና ማህበረሰብ ጉድኝንት ስራ አስፈጸሚ ክቡር ሰራዊት ሁንደሳ (ዶ/ር)፣ የትግራይ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ቢሮ ም/ሃላፊ ክቡር ገ/መስቀል ገ/ማርያም (ዶ/ር)፣ እንዲሁም ከሌሎች ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ያታደሙ እንግዶች በተገኙበት በደማቅ ስነ-ስርዓት ተመርቀዋል።
በምረቃ ስነ-ስርዓቱ የእንኳን ደህና መጣቹ መልእክት ያስተላለፉ የዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ፕሬዚደንት ፕሮፌሰር ታደሰ ደጀኔ በሰጡት ሃሳብ ራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እንደ ዕድሜው ሳይሆን በራዕዩ ልክ እየሰራ ያለ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ስለመሆኑ እነዚህ ብዙ ድካምና ውጣ ውረድ የሚጠይቁ የፈጠራ እና የምርምር ዲጂታላይዜሽን ስራዎች ማሳያዎች ናቸው ብለዋል። ፕሮፌሰር አክለውም መሰል የድጅታልና የፈጠራ ስራዎች የዩኒቨርሲቲው የልህቀት ማእከልነት ከማረጋገጥ አልፈው የማህበረሰቡን ህይወት የሚለውጡ እና የአገርን እድገት የሚያቀላጥፉ ናቸው ካሉ ቡሃላ የምርምር ፖርታሉና የሞባይል አፕሊኬሽኑ ከማበልፀግም ባሻገር የምርምር ውጤቶቻቸው Raya Journal of Science and Development (RJSD) ላይ ያሳተሙ፣ ከባዱን የግምገማና ኤዲቶርያል ስራዎችን በአግባቡ የተዋጡ የራያ ዩኒቨርስቲ እና እገዛ ያደረጉ የሌሎች ዩኒቨርሲቲ ምሁራንን አምሰግነዋል።
የራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምር፣ ማሕበረሰብ ጉድኝንት እና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ተ/ሳይንትፊክ ዳይሬክተር መሓር ሃይለ (ዶ/ር) በበኩላቸው ራያ ዩኒቨርስቲ እስካሁን ያከናወናቸው፣ እያከናወናቸው የሚገኝና ልያከናውናቸው ያቀዳቸው ስትራቴጂካዊ የምርምር፣ የማሕበረሰብ ጉድኝንት እና የቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ስራዎች ላይ ሰፊ ማብራርያ የሰጡ ሲሆን ዩንቨርሲቲው የማሕበረሰቡን ችግር ለመፍታት በምርምር የተደገፉና በቴክኖሎጂ የታገዙ ዘርፈ-ብዙ ስራዎችን ለማከናወን የምስክና የአቅጣጭ ልየታ ስራዎች አጠናቅቆ ወደ ተግባር እየተሸጋገረ እንደሚገኝ ገልፀዋል።
የራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምር ፖርታል በተመለከተ የራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የኮምፑተር ሳይንስ መምህርና የአበልፃጊው ቡድን መሪ የሆኑት መም/ር ክብሮም ሃፍቱ ሞያዊ ገለፃና ማብራርያ የሰጡ ሲሆን፤ ፖርታሉ የምርምር ውጤቶች ድጅታል ቋት፣ የምርምር መረጃዎች አስተዳደር ስርዓት፣ እንዲሁም Raya Journal of Science and Development (RJSD) የሚሉ ለምርምር መረጃ አያያዝ እና ተግባቦት አመቺ የሆኑ ሶስት ትላልቅ ሞጁሎችን ያጠቃለለ እንደሆነ ገልፀዋል። የRaya Journal of Science and Development (RJSD) የግምገማና ኤዲቶርያል ስራዎች ክንውን በተመለከተ ገለፃ ያደረጉት ደግሞ በራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የኤሌክትሪካል እና ኮምፑተር ምህንድስና መምህር እና የRJSD Chief-Editor የሆኑት ገብረኪሮስ ገ/እየሱስ (ዶ/ር) ሲሆኑ ጆርናሉ የራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምር ውጤቶች ጥራታቸው እና ጠቀሜታቸው ለማጎልበት፤ እንዲሁም ተደራሽነታቸው ለማስፋት ያለመ ስለመሆኑ አስረድተዋል።
ሌላኛውን የራያ ዩኒቨርስቲ የድጅታል ፈጠራ ውጤት የሆነውን ፍኖተ-ግእዝ የሞባይል አፕሊኬሽን ያበለጸጉ እና በምረቃው ስነ-ስርዓት ተገኝተው ሞያዊ ማብራርያ የሰጡ ደግሞ ቀሲስ ንጉስ መሰለ (ዶ/ር) ሲሆኑ የሞባይል አፕሊኬሽኑ አጠቃቀም ቅደም-ተከተሎች እና በውስጡ ስለ ያዛቸው ብዙ አማራጮች ሰፊ ገለፃ አድርገዋል። ፍኖተ-ግእዝ የሞባይል አፕሊኬሽን በቀላሉ የእጅ ስልክን በመጠቀም ከመጀመርያው የፊደል ቅርጸት ስርዓት ጀምሮ እስከ ከፍተኛ ደረጃ ያሉ መሰረታዊ የግእዝ ቋንቋ ክህለቶች ለማበልፀግ የሚያግዝ የሞባይል አፕሊኬሽን ስለመሆኑም ተመልክተዋል።
የትግራይ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ቢሮ ም/ሃላፊ ክቡር ገብረመስቀል ገ/ማርያም (ዶ/ር) በበኩላቸው ራያ ዩኒቨርስቲ እያከናወናቸው ያሉ የፈጠራ እና የምርምር ድጅታላይዘሽን ስራዎች የሚደነቁ መሆናቸውን ገልፀው በቀጣይም የትግራይ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ቢሮ በመሰል የፈጠራ ስራዎች ከአራቱም የትግራይ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እና ሌሎች ባለ ድርሻ አካላት ጋር አብሮ ለመስራት ማቀዱን እና መዘጃጀቱን ካብራሩ ቡሃል በራያ ዩኒቨርስቲ ሙሁራን ለበለፀገው ፍኖተ-ግእዝ የሞባይል አፕሊኬሽን የተሰጠውን የፈጠራ ባለቤትነት (Patent Right) ሰርቲፊኬት ለራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምር፣ ማሕበረሰብ ጉድኝንትና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ሳይንትፊክ ዳይሬክተር ቢሮ አስረክበዋል።
የትምህርት ስርዓቱን ባጠቃላይ፤ በተለይ ደግሞ የምርምርና ማሕበረሰብ ጉድኝንት ስራዎች፤ ለማዘመን በአገር-ኣአቐፍ ደረጃ እየተሰሩ ያሉ ስራዎች በተመለከተ ደግሞ በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የምርምርና ማሕበረሰብ ጉድኝንት ስራዎች ስራ አስፈጻሚው ክቡር ሰራዊት ሁንዴሳ (ዶ/ር) ማብራርያ የተሰጠ ሲሆን በራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በኩል እየሰራቸው ያሉ ሰፋፊ ስራዎች የዚህ የትምህርት ስርዓቱን የማዘመን አስፈላጊነት ማሳያዎች እንደሆኑ እና ተጠናክረው ሊቀጥሉ እንደሚገባ አስረድተዋል።
የተመረቁ የፈጠራና የምርምር ድጅታላይዘሽን ስራዎች ላበረከቱ እና የምርምር ስራዎቻቸው በRaya Journal of Science and Development ላሳተሙ የራያ ዩኒቨርስቲ ምሁራን የእውቅናና የምስጋና ሰርቲፊኬት የተሰጠ ሲሆን፤ ከትምህርት ሚኒስቴር እና ከትግራይ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ቢሮ ለመጡ ክቡራን እንግዶችም ባህላዊ የራያ ልብስ እንደ ስጦታ ተበርክቶላቸዋል። በመጨረሻም በራያ ዩኒቨርስቲ የምርምር፣ ማሕበረሰብ ጉድኝንት እና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ሳይንትፊክ ዳይሬክተር እየተሰሩ ያሉ የተለያዩ የምርምርና ማሕበረሰብ አገልግሎት ስራዎች ላይ ጉብኝት በማድረግ መርሐ-ግብሩ ተጠናቅቀዋል።
Raya University Unveils Two Innovative Software Applications

Raya University, November 01, 2025 – Raya University’s UIL-TT directorate office officially launched two innovative Technology Transfer Projects; namely, Raya Research Portal and Finote-Ge’ez Mobile-Based Ge’ez Learning Application. The launching ceremony has brought together researchers, developers, and invited partners to celebrate a major milestone in the university’s digital innovation and research advancement efforts.
In his opening speech, Prof. Tadesse Dejene, President of RU, stated that technological innovation and high-quality research are fundamental pillars of institutional excellence and national development. He also suggested that creating effective software applications and producing impactful research require dedication, commitment, patience, and resilience.
Mehari Haile (PhD), Scientific Director for Research, Community Engagement, and Technology Transfer at RU, delivered an insightful overview of the university’s achievements, ongoing initiatives, and strategic priorities. He also accentuated RU’s sustained efforts to enhance research productivity, broaden community engagement, and advance technology transfer initiatives aimed at addressing pressing societal challenges.
Kibrom Haftu, Lecturer in Computer Science at RU, introduced the Raya Research Portal, a comprehensive digital management system that has three independent major components namely: Raya Journal of Science and Development (RJSD), institutional research repository and Research information management system. Gebrekiros Gebreyesus (PhD), on his part showcased the Raya Journal of Science and Development (RJSD), describing it as a highly demanded and rewarding platform that facilitates article submission, peer review, editorial processing, and publication. The system is expected to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and quality of scholarly publications produced at RU and beyond.
Dr. Kesis Nigus Mesele introduced the Finote Geez Mobile-Based Geez Learning Application, a multipurpose digital tool designed to support the learning and revitalization of the ancient Geez language. The application features a structured progression from simple to complex concepts, including letters, phrases, pronunciation, grammar, numbers, and other essential language components. He also expressed the app’s cultural and aesthetic significance, emphasizing how it bridges traditional learning methods with modern educational technology by making Geez more accessible to learners of all levels.
During the handover of the property rights for the Finote Geez Mobile-Based Geez Learning Application to RU, Dr. Gebremeskel Gebremariam, a delegate from the Tigrai Science and Technology Bureau, commended the university’s remarkable achievements. He also urged researchers to continue their relentless efforts in developing technologies that address societal challenges and emphasized the importance of actively pursuing intellectual property protection for its innovations.
Serawit Hundiesa (PhD), General Director for Research and Community Engagement at the FDRE Ministry of Education, presented the thematic research priorities set for higher education institutions. In his presentation, he also underlined that a university’s true impact is defined by the quality and societal relevance of its research outputs, urging the university community to work indefatigably toward achieving their goals and producing research that genuinely addresses societal needs.
In the end, certificates of recognition were awarded to the software developers, editorial board members, and other contributors whose hard work and expertise made these technological achievements possible. The workshop concluded with an insightful field visit to several of the university’s flagship facilities, including the Bee Farming Project, the Health Science Laboratories, the Seed Multiplication and Demonstration Area, and the Animal Husbandry and Fattening Site. The visit offered participants a firsthand look at RU’s practical initiatives, reinforcing the university’s commitment to innovation, research excellence, and community-based development.
